Isn’t there something magical about the craft store yarn aisle? The way it lures you in with an organized rainbow of textures. I want desperately to buy all the yarn even though I don’t know how to crochet or knit. If you can relate to this then tassel making is the craft for you!
Here is what you will need to make the garland pictured:
5 different colors of yarn 1 skien in each color should be enough but if you get a specialty yarn you may need to get more than 1 skein per color.
A piece of cardboard cut to the length you want your tassel to be
Scissors
A rope or piece of twine to thread your tassels on. I got mine at Michaels and I use it every holiday!
Instructions:
Now that the tassel is securely tied at the top go ahead and slide it off the cardboard and follow the above instructions.
Tassels add a whimsical touch to any space and make a great addition to holiday decor. I hope you find this craft as fun as I do. Don’t forget to share your tassel creations with me!
